I’ve managed the launch of various websites and I’m experienced in directing designers and developers in the creation of all kinds of web projects.

Having worked both as a web designer and SEO consultant puts me in the unique position of being able to work closely with all members of a web development team – as well as having strong management skills, I’m able to speak pixels with designers and talk code with developers. Communication is absolutely vital and unfortunately designers and developers often struggle with talking to clients in plain English. Having a background in design and development allows for unparalleled levels of communication, not only between myself and the team but also between myself and the client, who more often than not has little interest in the technical aspects of how a project is developed.

Most of my clients have only one thing when they first approach me – an idea. What they are lacking is the solution to turn this idea into a fully functioning reality. The web development world changes by the minute and an understanding of the latest development technologies is key in creating a competitive and successful site, particularly when planning to seek investment in the future. This is exciting, but also unfortunately allows for those with limited technical understanding to be easily misled.

I regularly use Skype to communicate with clients and development teams, as well as having a Blackberry that rarely leaves my side – I understand how important it is to have someone reliable always within easy contact, both for my teams and my clients.

I’ve worked with a variety of designers and developers not only in the UK, but also as far away as Argentina and India when clients have outsourced projects and would be happy to share my knowledge and contacts with any future clients. I never charge for an initial consultation and I’m happy to put my ink on a NDA where required.
